Job Requirements

  • Minimal legal age for consideration is 16
  • less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment
  • ability to perform physical tasks associated with dishwashing and janitorial duties
  • commitment to maintaining sanitation and quality standards
  • ability to operate dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely
  • willingness to work varied days and hours
  • ability to follow organizational policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment

Job Duties

  • Retrieve trays from dirty utility room
  • clean off meal carts
  • send dirty dishes through dish machine
  • wash pots
  • place clean dishes in designated work area
  • throw trash
  • sweep and mop
  • participate in delivery of food services tray to customers while maintaining quality and sanitation standards
  • assemble and deliver patient/customer meals according to established criteria and procedures
  • support the organization's visions, values and strategies
  • maintain and support sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies
  • operate and maintain equipment commensurate with job assignment
  • ensure quality guidelines are maintained as they pertain to the area assigned
  • maintain department records, reports and files as required
  • participate in educational meetings/in-services
  • perform other duties as assigned
