Job Requirements

- Less than high school education
- Less than one year of experience in a customer service or food service environment
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
- Availability to work varied days and hours
- Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Basic reading and comprehension skills

Job Duties
- Retrieve trays from dirty utility room
- Clean off meal carts
- Send dirty dishes through dish machine
- Wash pots
- Place clean dishes in designated work area
- Throw trash
- Sweep and mop
- Participate in delivery of food services tray to customers while maintaining quality and sanitation standards
- Assemble and deliver patient/customer meals according to established procedures
- Support the organization's visions, values and strategies
- Maintain and support sanitation standards
- Operate and maintain equipment as assigned
- Ensure quality guidelines are maintained
- Maintain department records, reports and files
- Participate in educational meetings and in-services
- Perform other duties as assigned
