Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in hospitality or similar fast-paced environment preferred
Ability to work in team-oriented environment
Good communication skills
Physical stamina to perform extended periods of standing and lifting
Availability to work flexible and long hours
Willingness to follow safety and operational protocols

Job Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen years of age
Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
Must pass pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
Must adhere to company grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Strong work ethic and ability to maintain composure under pressure

Job Duties

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
Create genuine rapport with guests and cater to all galley requests efficiently
Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events including afternoon teas and snacks, and participating in evening entertainment
