Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must successfully complete New Mexico Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire
  • Must be able to pass a stringent background investigation
  • Must submit to pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift for extended periods
  • Punctual and regular attendance
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments subject to various weather and noise conditions
  • Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, crouching, kneeling, stooping and crawling

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in restaurant or food service capacity preferred
  • Successful completion of New Mexico Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Knowledge of buffet line requirements
  • Knowledge of food/drink preservation temperature requirements
  • Knowledge of sanitary regulations regarding food/drink preparation, maintenance, storage and sales
  • Ability to assist guests and team members
  • Ability to adjust schedules as needed
  • Maintains highest standard of personal hygiene
  • Ability to work professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Job Duties

  • Wash pots, pans and utensils
  • Place washed items in proper storage areas using safe ware washing techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing machine, dish/kitchen areas and workstation
  • Clean and sanitize dish ware, floors, coolers, and freezers as necessary
  • Refill dishwasher chemicals as needed
  • Clean storage racks as needed
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings to ensure understanding of property information
  • Complete computer-assisted training timely
  • Empty trash containers, wash and replace liners
  • Remove trash to dump receptacle
  • Clean and wash fry and steam kettles as needed
  • Assist in arranging food and dry storage items
  • Use safe ware washing and lifting techniques
  • Comply with property appearance standards
  • Maintain punctual and regular attendance
