Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must successfully complete New Mexico Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire
Must be able to pass a stringent background investigation
Must submit to pre-employment and random drug screening
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift for extended periods
Punctual and regular attendance
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments subject to various weather and noise conditions
Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, crouching, kneeling, stooping and crawling

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
Experience in restaurant or food service capacity preferred
Successful completion of New Mexico Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire
Ability to follow instructions
Knowledge of buffet line requirements
Knowledge of food/drink preservation temperature requirements
Knowledge of sanitary regulations regarding food/drink preparation, maintenance, storage and sales
Ability to assist guests and team members
Ability to adjust schedules as needed
Maintains highest standard of personal hygiene
Ability to work professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Job Duties

Wash pots, pans and utensils
Place washed items in proper storage areas using safe ware washing techniques
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing machine, dish/kitchen areas and workstation
Clean and sanitize dish ware, floors, coolers, and freezers as necessary
Refill dishwasher chemicals as needed
Clean storage racks as needed
Participate in daily stand-up meetings to ensure understanding of property information
Complete computer-assisted training timely
Empty trash containers, wash and replace liners
Remove trash to dump receptacle
Clean and wash fry and steam kettles as needed
Assist in arranging food and dry storage items
Use safe ware washing and lifting techniques
Comply with property appearance standards
Maintain punctual and regular attendance
