Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
No prior experience required
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleanliness standards
Must be reliable and punctual
Good physical condition and stamina

Job Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Team player with good communication skills
Willingness to learn and take direction
Physical stamina to stand for long periods
Previous dishwashing or cleaning experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine
Sort and stack clean dishes
Carry clean dishes to cook line and other proper storage areas
Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour
Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster
Set up or break down dishwashing area
Clean and roll/unroll mats
Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
Sweep/mop floors
Assemble/disassemble dish machine
Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
Other duties as directed
