Job Requirements

Prior dishwashing experience required
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Must adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to work part time Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Familiarity with safety protocols in kitchen environments
Capability to operate dishwashing machinery and handle chemicals safely

Job Duties

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
