Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of high volume culinary or hospitality experience
  • Current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal, state or local law
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant skills including food, equipment, kitchenware, tableware storage and rotation
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Experience maneuvering hand carts, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys, and other kitchen tools
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts as determined by business needs

Job Duties

  • Create a relaxed destination by actively participating in a team environment and demonstrating genuine hospitality and team player skills to promote culinary success
  • Set the course by fostering cleanliness and sanitizing tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment
  • Build the perfect oasis by keeping the dishroom and equipment clean and organized
  • Support your crew by ensuring safety, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen by maintaining specified agency standards
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
  • Assist in the proper cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking of plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow scheduled shifts determined by business needs
