Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and free of food residue
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area
  • Assist kitchen staff by collecting and returning kitchen tools, pots, and pans to their designated areas
  • Empty and clean trash bins regularly to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients, as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance on dishwashing equipment to ensure it operates efficiently
  • Restock clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their designated storage areas
  • Ensure that cleaning supplies and chemicals are properly stored and labeled
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents
  • Follow sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination
  • Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness, including wearing the appropriate uniform and protective gear
