Job Duties

  • Operates dishwashing machine making sure it is in proper working condition and reports problems to the appropriate supervisor
  • Scrapes all pans and pre-washes before putting into the washing machine
  • Empties tank and cleans inside and out with soapy water after washing cycle
  • Washes pots by hand using prescribed soap and disinfectant ensuring removal of all food grease and residue
  • Air-dries all items before storing and rotates stock regularly
  • Maintains pot and pan storage area including surrounding floors and walls
  • Sweeps washes or mops entire kitchen floor as directed and before end of shift
  • Removes all trash to appropriate areas
  • Maintains a sanitary work station
  • Performs other duties as assigned
