Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year job related experience preferred
- completion of CPR certificate and first aid certificate may be required
- completion of ServSafe Food Handler Card may be required
- local health department food handler card may be required
- ability to comply with national and provincial occupational health and safety regulations
- ability to perform janitorial and dishwashing duties
- willingness to participate in required training and certifications
- ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks

Job Duties
- Set up and maintain the dish and pot washing areas
- operate dish machines according to manufacturer instructions
- perform dishwashing tasks to properly wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware
- maintain accurate dish machine and sink temperature and sanitation logs and report any issues promptly
- complete assigned kitchen cleaning duties and ensure accuracy of cleaning logs
- clean assigned kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, refrigerators, and more
- perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, washing walls and ceilings, sanitizing areas, and emptying trash
- assist with food preparation and plating when necessary
- maintain correct storage of cookware, china, glassware, utensils, and janitorial supplies
- assist in receiving, storage, dating, labeling, and rotation of food and non-food supplies
- comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practices safety procedures at all times
- support dining services by cleaning dining areas, bussing and resetting tables, delivering food orders, and preparing and serving light meals as needed
- participate in team goals and demonstrate Team Member Credo
- maintain training compliance
- perform other duties as assigned by community leadership
