Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
Organizational and time management skills
Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Job Duties

Wash dishes and pots using dishwashing machines and by hand
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas
Store and rotate food and supplies according to sanitary standards
Perform janitorial duties in dining areas such as dining room and bistro
Comply with federal, state, and local regulations concerning food storage and cleaning
Assist with general kitchen organization and cleanliness
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding cleaning and supply needs
