Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes and pots using dishwashing machines and by hand
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Store and rotate food and supplies according to sanitary standards
  • Perform janitorial duties in dining areas such as dining room and bistro
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations concerning food storage and cleaning
  • Assist with general kitchen organization and cleanliness
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding cleaning and supply needs
