Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age with exceptions for Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio where the minimum age is 19
Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work in extreme temperatures
Ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks unless under 18
Ability to stand or walk for up to 4 hours or as required by law
Required to wear approved hat, hair net, beard guard, and personal protective equipment
Flexible schedule including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays

Job Qualifications

A passion for providing extraordinary service
Must be at least 18 years of age with exceptions for Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio where the minimum age is 19
Excellent and collaborative communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience working in retail, hospitality, or restaurant industries preferred

Job Duties

Consistently provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests to learn their wants and needs and helping them create meal solutions while making recipes on demand
Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store and assist guests across the kitchen
Inspect store products for proper rotation, cleaning, and sanitation to eliminate cross-contamination and complete reports as necessary
Manage stations including chopped and grain bowls, customized hot pizzas, biscuits and sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, beer and wine, and prepared salads
Set up and break down front line areas
Receive and stock orders according to standards
Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items while assisting guests
Follow all The Fresh Market standards, policies, and protocols
Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards
Work a flexible schedule including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays
