Job Requirements

Pre-employment drug testing including for marijuana and controlled substances
Prohibition of alcohol consumption while on board
Completion of shipboard emergency and safety training
Capability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Availability for a 28-week temporary contract
Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, for up to 28 weeks
Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
Willingness to comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Possess a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure

Job Duties

Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of galley items including cutlery, glassware, and dishes
Carry and receive food deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds
Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher, reporting any malfunctions
Build genuine rapport with guests and respond to galley requests efficiently
Perform additional duties such as greeting guests during embarkation and assisting at special events and evening entertainment
Maintain compliance with shipboard safety and hygiene standards
Support the galley team in daily operational tasks
