Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Food handler certification within the county of employment
Ability to work on feet for long hours
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to adhere to grooming and appearance standards
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and reliability

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred
Food handler certification within the county of employment
Ability to work efficiently in a team setting
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Basic understanding of sanitation and health regulations
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Maintains a sense of urgency throughout the shift
Acts as a true team member and recognizes areas to be helpful and supportive to other staff members
Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including dish machines as well as sanitizing tools and other related equipment
Adheres to proper side-work duties, policies, and health department requirements
Food handler certification within the county of employment
Able to work on feet for long hours
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
Assists others in closing the kitchen
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
Assists in food storage and rotation as well as checking in any deliveries of goods
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty
Filling in for absent staff as needed
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
Makes efforts to improve overall menu knowledge
Acts as the restaurant cleanliness ambassador- keeps the facilities clean and free of unwanted debris- floors, prep areas and tables, and other food storage areas
