Job Requirements

Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required
able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs working in cooler/freezer storage areas including required overhead and lower shelf reaching, bending and stooping moving 50 lbs
operate industrial dishwasher, mop and broom
visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), and field of vision
must be able to perform the following physical activities: balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, and repetitive motions
must be able to follow one or two-step instructions
routine, repetitive task
standing work on tile or concrete for duration of shift
work with cleaning chemicals and solvents

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen cleaning role preferred
ability to work effectively as part of a team
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to follow company hygiene and dress code policies
reliability and punctuality
capacity to operate industrial dishwashing equipment
understanding of workplace safety regulations

Job Duties

Work with co-workers as a team
ensure the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, etc.
wash department equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, etc.
clean dishes promptly
take the garbage to the designated area in a timely manner
handle food in a safe manner and ensure the work area is always clean and neat
maintain strict adherence to company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
break down, clean and sanitize work station at the end of shift
perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors and managers, substituting for absent workers and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to customers during peak periods of business
report to work when scheduled and on time
