Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • able to lift 25-50 pounds
  • capable of standing for long periods
  • must be able to move around the kitchen as needed
  • able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • flexible availability for working hours
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is beneficial but not required
  • ability to operate mechanical dishwashing equipment
  • good physical stamina to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
  • knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • setting up, using, and maintaining the mechanical dishwasher for the duration of the shift
  • keeping the food line stocked with clean plates
  • performing cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift including work area and restrooms
  • assisting in food preparation procedures
  • maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • handling utensils and plate ware to ensure sanitary conditions
  • following safety and health regulations in the kitchen
