Job Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and sanitizing stations
- Ensure Health Department standards are met and exceeded
- Keep dishwashing area organized, clean, and clutter-free
- Manage dirty dish flow with grace under pressure
- Work closely with kitchen staff to support smooth meal service
- Respond quickly to needs with a positive attitude
- Handle all kitchen tools and equipment with care following safety procedures
- Maintain a respectful, trauma-informed kitchen environment
- Assist with kitchen cleanliness, trash disposal, and light food prep when needed
- Be ready to jump in wherever needed most
