Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age to apply
  • flexible and long hours required at times
  • ability to stand during entire shift in warm, damp environment exerting up to 50 pounds as needed
  • ability to maneuver safely throughout walk-ins and kitchen during shift
  • ability to handle and operate knives, meat slicer, digital scales, automatic dish machine and all chemical solvents safely
  • ability to reach overhead, carry and transport sheet pans, bend below the waist, crouch and communicate intentions to co-workers
  • approach all encounters with guests in a friendly, socially distanced and service-oriented manner
  • continuously clean high touch points throughout work station
  • maintain regular schedule in compliance with TooJay's business levels and cleanliness protocols
  • maintain high standards of personal grooming including wearing proper uniform and facial mask and gloves if required and as regulated

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds
  • experience handling kitchen equipment is a plus but not required
  • ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
  • friendly and service-oriented attitude
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties

  • Provide timely and efficient cleaning and storing of all small wares and silverware
  • maintain a clean and safe working area
  • handle and operate knives, meat slicer, digital scales, automatic dish machine and all chemical solvents safely
  • maneuver safely throughout the walk-ins and kitchen during the shift
  • stand for entire shift in warm, damp environment and lift up to 50 pounds
  • continuously clean high touch points throughout work station
  • maintain high standards of personal grooming including proper uniform and protective gear
