Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age to apply
- flexible and long hours required at times
- ability to stand during entire shift in warm, damp environment exerting up to 50 pounds as needed
- ability to maneuver safely throughout walk-ins and kitchen during shift
- ability to handle and operate knives, meat slicer, digital scales, automatic dish machine and all chemical solvents safely
- ability to reach overhead, carry and transport sheet pans, bend below the waist, crouch and communicate intentions to co-workers
- approach all encounters with guests in a friendly, socially distanced and service-oriented manner
- continuously clean high touch points throughout work station
- maintain regular schedule in compliance with TooJay's business levels and cleanliness protocols
- maintain high standards of personal grooming including wearing proper uniform and facial mask and gloves if required and as regulated
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds
- experience handling kitchen equipment is a plus but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- friendly and service-oriented attitude
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
Job Duties
- Provide timely and efficient cleaning and storing of all small wares and silverware
- maintain a clean and safe working area
- handle and operate knives, meat slicer, digital scales, automatic dish machine and all chemical solvents safely
- maneuver safely throughout the walk-ins and kitchen during the shift
- stand for entire shift in warm, damp environment and lift up to 50 pounds
- continuously clean high touch points throughout work station
- maintain high standards of personal grooming including proper uniform and protective gear
