Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to stand and walk 100% of the time
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • ability to work in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • must comply with health and safety regulations
  • willingness to perform general maintenance and cleaning duties

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus
  • ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
  • good physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to work in warm conditions
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • properly prepare all items needed for cooking including washing and cutting vegetables, weighing, mixing, and measuring ingredients to pre-cook batches of meat, poultry, and seafood
  • stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and food supplies
  • check for proper detergent, rinse agent levels, and water temperatures at the beginning of the shift and throughout the day
  • follow proper procedures on running items through the dish machine
  • keep service area, kitchen, and line stocked with clean dishes
  • keep all kitchen floors, coolers, and service area floors swept and mopped
  • perform occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and frequently lifting up to 25 lbs
