Job Requirements

0-2 years related experience
Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods without rest or sitting
Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
Ability to reach with hands
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Ability to bend and stoop
Ability to verbally communicate with others
Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area

Job Qualifications

Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
Relies on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals
General knowledge of commercial dishwashing is preferred, but not required
Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
Strong menu knowledge
Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
0-2 years related experience

Job Duties

Responsible for keeping the dish tank area maintained and seeing that cleaned dishes are available for service
Follows food safety guidelines for washing, drying, and storing dishware and utensils
Removes cardboard and grease, and maintains the cleanliness of the parking lot
Maintenance and cleanliness of property around the restaurant (i.e., foyer, front porch, sidewalk etc.)
Empties trash from the designated areas throughout shift
Works with other staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction as it pertains to dining room cleanliness
May be asked to assist in other job categories as well
Performs all other duties as assigned
