Job Requirements

high school diploma or GED
minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
ability to handle multiple priorities
ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
must have organizational and time management skills and demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Job Duties

wash dishes and pots in compliance with sanitation standards
clean general kitchen and dining equipment regularly
perform janitorial duties in dining areas including dining room and bistro
store and rotate food and supplies according to regulatory procedures
handle all foods and cleaning activities maintaining sanitary procedures
comply with federal, state, and local regulations on food safety and storage
support kitchen staff by providing clean utensils and cookware efficiently
