Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in dishwashing or related kitchen work is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene procedures
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is helpful
- Ability to carefully and skillfully operate washing equipment
- Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Ensure the cleanliness of all dishware including hand washing and operating washing equipment
- Safely polish stainless and silverware to maintain presentation
- Maintain kitchen safety by promptly clearing spills and thoroughly cleaning floors, walls, and cook surfaces
- Empty, wash, and return trash bins when three quarters full
- Keep the wash area organized and clean
- Assist with special and deep cleaning projects as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
