Job Requirements

  • positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members

  • ability to meet the physical demands of the position including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods greater than eight hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty pounds

Job Qualifications

  • three months prior experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club
  • culinary degree or certification(s) or relevant on-the-job experience recommended

Job Duties

  • maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes and kitchen work areas, sweeping kitchen work areas, and removing trash
  • provide clean cooking utensils for the food and beverage operations and ensure that all utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in the designated areas
  • maintain safety, proper storage of chemicals, and chemical concentration logs
  • perform daily set ups of china, glassware, and silverware items for all outlets
  • participate as a team player with other key team members
  • attend department briefings as necessary to communicate necessary information
  • complete all opening and closing procedures as instructed
  • assist with execution of departmental objectives and goals
  • monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks
  • maintain all equipment ensuring it is properly handled and maintained
  • clean and maintain floors and walls in kitchen and dishwashing area by following standard procedures
  • ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
  • wash, wipe, sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
  • report any maintenance or hazard issues to the Executive Chef
  • always maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • comply with all government, safety, health, and security standards through the department at all times
  • perform any other duties as assigned
