Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age at the age of hire unless otherwise required by state law
ability to remain standing for extended periods
ability to frequently bend squat kneel and lift up to 40 lbs for short distances
ability to work with hot water for most of the shift and in work areas that have an elevated air temperature
ability to work with varying noise levels
frequent communication with managers and team members and ability to exchange accurate information
arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work

Job Qualifications

support other back of house functions as needed ensuring that all areas of the restaurant run smoothly is a shared responsibility among the team
communicate positively with other team members and management to ensure smooth operations
provide exceptional service and maintain a positive attitude throughout the entire shift
demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work
work directly with team members to ensure all needs are met in a timely manner
maintain proper food handling procedures and ensure sanitation of work areas complying with food handling requirements
work closely with team members to ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed according to company standards
collect bus tubs and dirty dishes from both foH and boH areas
ensure a steady supply of clean dishes glassware and utensils for cooks servers and bartenders
re-stock areas for easy access by other staff members
provide support to cooks as needed including occasional station assignments
communicate with fellow team members and management to stay informed and ensure smooth operations
maintain clean and organized work areas including sweeping and mopping when necessary
assist with overall kitchen cleanliness including taking out trash
complete running and end-of-shift side work ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next dishwasher
notify management immediately of any potential problems or issues
