Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashers or by hand as needed
  • properly dispose of trash, recycling, and compost, and maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas
  • restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies in their appropriate areas, ensuring that they are readily available for use
  • monitor the functionality of dishwashing machines and report any issues to the kitchen manager
  • assist with basic food prep tasks like peeling, chopping, and washing vegetables when required
  • follow all safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning supplies
  • adhere to all company guidelines and policies as outlined in the employee handbook, including health standards, conduct, and safety procedures
