Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
capacity to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for long periods
ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
basic understanding of food safety practices
flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred but not required

Job Duties

following instructions of the chef at all times
assisting coworkers as needed and as directed
ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible
collect and wash up pots and pans
clean food preparation areas and equipment to department of health standards
changing garbage
cleaning floors
assist with prep work
keep the storeroom and walk-ins organized
keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitized
