Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
  • Able to frequently squat and bend
  • Capability to work in hot and cool kitchen environments
  • Self-accountable and upholds high standards
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Can work standing for up to 8 hours daily or as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Previous culinary experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and follow written recipes, standards, and safety instructions
  • Strong passion for food and people
  • Team player with a positive attitude and sense of urgency
  • Able to work in fast-paced environments standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Ensure cleanliness and quality of all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen items
  • Follow and enforce food safety and sanitation standards consistently
  • Operate dishwashing machines at correct temperatures
  • Use proper detergents and sanitizers in dish machines and cleaning processes
  • Abide by Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) guidelines for hazardous chemical use
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized walkways and dish areas
  • Assist kitchen staff with prep work, food storage, and produce rotation
