Job Requirements

Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of eight hours
Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry up to 25 pounds
Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke and high noise levels

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of experience as a dishwasher in upscale and high-volume nightlife venues or similar environments
Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation best practices
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy items during shifts
Familiarity with kitchen safety regulations

Job Duties

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area including floors, walls, and equipment
Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen utensils properly
Dispose of trash and greases according to health and safety guidelines
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when necessary
Monitor dishwashing supplies and report inventory needs
Follow hygiene and sanitation standards consistently
