Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a dishwashing or sanitation role is a plus
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work under management supervision
Physical ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
Must be able to safely handle cleaning chemicals
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Willingness to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to uniform dress code

Job Qualifications

Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
Ability to work standing and/or walking 100 percent of the time
Ability to lift occasionally up to 50 lbs and frequently up to 30 lbs
Effective communication skills

Job Duties

Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management
Keep dish room clean at all times
Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
Clean dish machine after every meal
Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty mop bucket
De-lime the dish machine once a week
Scrub and soak all stained cups weekly
Exercise extreme precaution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals
Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using clean as you go techniques
Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed
Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards
Use Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
Assist fellow associates at every opportunity
Perform any other duties as assigned by management
