Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year of related experience in commercial kitchen preferred
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by events
- Ability to stand and walk for long hours
- Ability to lift 30 pounds to the waist
- Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols
- Willingness to adhere to dress code and grooming standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Stage plates and setup breakdown area prior to events
- Assist FOH prior to events as needed
- Maintains sanitary and safe work environment
- Always maintains clean dry floors and walls, including sweeping and mopping
- Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Washes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, and meat blocks
- Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Help keep all China, glass, and silver in place, along with keeping the banquet storage areas stocked and orderly
- Help with light prep cooking and plating up
- Assist with proper food storage and rotation
- Report to work when scheduled, on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag
- Personal appearance and grooming must conform to TCC dress code
- Keep track of the cleaning supply usages and inform Chef when supplies are getting low
- Clearly communicates with kitchen supervisor and executive chef
- Responsible for being able to communicate well with team members while maintaining a positive and professional work environment
- Must be able to follow direction given by the Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef
