Job Requirements
- Food handler certification within the county of employment
- Ability to work on feet for long hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work full-time or part-time shifts
- Ability to adhere to grooming and appearance standards
- Must follow health department requirements and restaurant policies
- Must be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to assist with food prep assignments during off-peak hours

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and health safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Food handler certification within the county of employment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain focus
- Physical stamina to work on feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Job Duties
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a sense of urgency throughout the shift
- Acts as a true team member and recognizes areas to be helpful and supportive to other staff members
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including dish machines as well as sanitizing tools and other related equipment
- Adheres to proper side-work duties, policies, and health department requirements
- Food hander certification within the county of employment
- Able to work on feet for long hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Assists others in closing the kitchen
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
- Assists in food storage and rotation as well as checking in any deliveries of goods
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty
- Filling in for absent staff as needed
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Makes efforts to improve overall menu knowledge
- Acts as the restaurant cleanliness ambassador- keeps the facilities clean and free of unwanted debris- floors, prep areas and tables, and other food storage areas.
