Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old
Some secondary education
Entry-level position
Stamina to stand up to 5 hours at a time
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and walk at a moderate pace
Strength to lift and carry objects that may weigh up to 20 lbs or more

Job Duties

Assist in the removal of dirty dishes from tables during and after guests meals
Assist in the cleaning of tables, chairs, windows, floors, highchairs, boosters, booths, spice caddies, and pie racks
Keep dishwashing areas organized, including washing dirty dishes, returning clean dishes to designated areas, emptying slop buckets/garbage cans, taking garbage to dumpsters, and setting up, breaking down and cleaning the dishwashing unit
Maintain cleanliness of parking lots and building exteriors
Communicate with servers/hosts to ensure dining room efficiency and guest service
Assist in stocking wait stations with silverware, cups, ice, and plates
Maintain organization and cleanliness of janitorial closet and cleaning supplies
Assist in the clean-up of any spills or accidents
Assist in restaurant maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager including store specific opening, closing, and side work procedures
