Job Requirements
- Entry level position with on-the-job training
- Minors under the age of 18 must obtain a valid work permit if required by the state of employment
- Ability to work flexible, student-friendly schedules
- Physical ability to handle repetitive tasks such as scraping, washing, and lifting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and health safety standards
- Good physical stamina for standing and lifting throughout shifts
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
- Valid work permit for minors if applicable
Job Duties
- Set up and breakdown of the dishwashing area including preparing and dismantling dish machines and scraping stations
- Work collaboratively with other dishwashers to scrape, rack, wash, and store service ware and pots
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all dishwashing equipment and surrounding areas
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols consistently
- Maintain inventory of dishwashing supplies and report shortages
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen environment
- Support team members during busy service periods
