Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work flexible hours including days, nights and weekends
- capability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- knowledge of proper chemical usage for cleaning and sanitizing
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- clear communication skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- reliable and punctual work attendance

- previous maintenance experience in a hotel or restaurant preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Keeps supervisor promptly informed of issues or unusual matters and takes corrective action
- uses chemicals properly for safety and cost control
- operates all equipment safely and correctly
- cleans and sanitizes dishware, flatware, glassware, kitchen pots, pans and utensils
- sorts dishware and flatware carefully to prevent loss
- empties trash and maintains trash cans
- assists kitchen staff with pressure point relief and line maintenance
- cleans and maintains kitchen, dish areas, floors, walls, drains, and mats
- assists with kitchen storage area maintenance, cleanliness and stocking
- helps with some prep and banquet items as directed
- maintains a favorable working relationship with all team members to promote a cooperative work climate
- displays friendliness and smiles while working days, nights and/or weekends
- communicates clearly with guests and team members
- dresses neatly and professionally according to guidelines
