Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience preferred
Ability to follow directions
Good organizational and verbal skills
Ability to perform moderate physical work and lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently
Ability to sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Flexibility to work according to shift assignments

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience preferred
Excellent oral communication and listening skills
Ability to follow directions
Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

Prepares tableware for washing and removes food residue with a scraper
Sorts china, glassware, and silverware, placing each in separate racks or trays
Sets up dishwashing machine, checks soap, rinse supply, and ensures empty food strainers
Prepares glassware for washing by emptying liquids and sorting by size
Dries and polishes glassware using clean dishtowels
Cleans dishwashing equipment and working area
Collects garbage from dining room, kitchen grills, and other areas
Cleans garbage cans thoroughly with hot soapy water and steam
Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor
Maintains cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas according to F&B Manual
Completes opening and closing checklists as outlined in F&B Manual
Conducts daily walkthrough to ensure facility safety and presentation
Protects the assets of the club
Operates within guidelines, policies, and standards established by Hampshire Country Club
