Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
One year of relevant experience
Must have 1+ years of previous restaurant dishwashing experience
A team player with good communication skills both verbal and written
Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
Very good physical condition and endurance
Able to work without direct supervision

Job Duties

Clean all areas of the restaurant as needed including kitchen and dining areas and remove trash
Clean and sanitize dishes following established dish machine procedures including monitoring proper temperatures and chemicals
Practice proper wash, rinse and sanitizing methods in the 3-compartment sinks
Clean and sanitize restrooms and bathrooms using established practices and procedures
Clean and maintain hard surface floors in kitchen and dining areas as needed
Report equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to the supervisor
Assist in putting away weekly deliveries of food and supplies to walk-in coolers and other storage locations
Help with general maintenance of equipment, building and storage spaces
Assist in snow removal on sidewalks and trash areas
Perform other duties as assigned
