Now hiring a Dishwasher for our Hospital cafeteria located at the Rev Hugh Cooper Admin Center. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with day shift hours. The dishwasher plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the hospital kitchen and cafeteria environment to ensure safe food service operations. Duties include a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks such as retrieving trays from the dirty utility room, cleaning meal carts, operating dish machines, washing pots, and placing clean dishes in designated work areas. Janitorial duties such as emptying trash, sweeping, and mopping are also essential responsibilities.
The role involves participation in the delivery of food service trays to customers, supporting the overall patient and customer experience while adhering to quality and sanitation standards. This position is ideal for individuals with less than one year of experience in a customer service or food service environment and requires a minimum legal age of 16 years for consideration. The dishwasher helps maintain the organization’s vision, values, and strategies through consistent support of sanitation standards as required by departmental policies and regulatory agencies.
