Job Description
A fast-paced culinary environment is seeking a dedicated and organized dishwasher to join their team. The role involves efficiently removing soiled plates and flatware, washing them thoroughly, restocking items, unloading delivery trucks, assisting in preparing cook stations, cleaning appliances and machines, emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, and other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to safely operate a commercial dish machine, manage the use of cleaning chemicals, and re-stock efficiently
- accuracy in completing cleaning and organizing tasks
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work positively in a fast-paced team environment
- physical ability to be on feet for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and engage in continuous manual tasks like bending, reaching, and twisting
- adherence to strong personal image and uniform standards
