This position is for a full-time Dishroom Lead at Virginia Wesleyan University, a role where your leadership skills and dedication to quality and team collaboration have a meaningful impact every day. The Dishroom Lead is responsible for overseeing dishroom operations, ensuring cleanliness standards, maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils with meticulous attention to detail. - minimum 1 year of related experience
- ability to handle physical demands of the job
- open availability for varying shifts including days and hours

Job Duties
- Maintain and clean kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils
- wash dishes and pots by hand or in a machine and polish silverware
- sweep, mop, and clean floor, and remove garbage to designated areas
- wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
- transfer supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas such as pantry and dish room
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
