Job Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing equipment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Previous commercial kitchen or food service experience
  • Familiarity with health department sanitation requirements
  • Basic mechanical or troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Food safety or sanitation certification

Job Duties

  • Operate dish machines to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment
  • Inspect items for cleanliness and rewash as needed
  • Keep dishwashing areas clean and organized, including sinks, counters, and floors
  • Monitor machine performance and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Assist with organizing and storing clean kitchenware
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling
