As a Dish Machine Operator (DMO) at IHOP, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. This position is crucial for upholding the restaurant's reputation for quality and hygiene. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining dishware and utensils to support kitchen and dining room operations. Furthermore, you will undertake various sanitation and housekeeping tasks assigned by supervisors. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members are essential for success in this role.

The job requires physical stamina, as you will need to stand for up to eight hours per shift and be capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Full mobility of hands and arms is necessary since many tasks require repetitive motions. Additionally, you will adhere strictly to food safety procedures and government regulations to ensure a clean, safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Your role as an IHOP DMO will also include bussing tables, managing kitchen appliances and machines, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring the availability of clean dishes at all times. Supporting team members during busy periods and performing other assigned duties to facilitate restaurant operations is also expected.
