The role of Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) Quality Programs Director at Memorial Healthcare System plays a critical leadership position in managing enterprise-wide clinical quality performance. This position oversees initiatives across Memorial Health Network (MHN), the Broward Guardian ACO, and other federal and commercial shared-risk programs. The director is responsible for setting strategic direction and executing quality improvement programs under dual-sided risk contracts, aiming to optimize patient outcomes across employed and community physicians within the healthcare system. This role demands a visionary leader capable of collaborating across multiple stakeholders to integrate best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and standardized clinical policies that contribute to system-wide quality enhancement.

In this capacity, the ACO Quality Programs Director co-leads the design and deployment of clinical and operational tools and workflows that promote quality care and patient safety. This includes leading committees focused on quality governance and improvement initiatives while managing programs related to population health, ambulatory care, risk coding optimization, and performance tracking. The role also involves mentoring and training healthcare providers and operational staff on clinical quality metrics and data interpretation to drive continuous improvement. The director additionally leads efforts to select and implement advanced data integration and reporting platforms essential for tracking quality outcomes and compliance in various value-based care settings.

This leadership position requires extensive experience in healthcare quality management, including a minimum of ten years of combined experience in direct patient care or quality management, with at least five years in leadership roles. Expertise in Medicare Accountable Care Organizations, Clinically Integrated Networks, and hierarchical coding categories is fundamental. The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree and possess relevant professional licenses, such as a Pharmacist License and Registered Nurse licenses recognized by Florida and compact states. Candidates must exhibit exceptional critical thinking, decisive judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to function independently under pressure. Beyond technical expertise, the role demands a strategic and collaborative approach to driving enterprise-wide clinical quality improvements that align with the evolving landscape of value-based healthcare reimbursement models.

Job Requirements
