Job Requirements

  • registered nurse license or equivalent healthcare credential
  • minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or patient safety leadership
  • knowledge of QAPI, RCA2, FMEA, and related quality tools
  • ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
  • proficiency with clinical data analytics
  • commitment to patient-centered care and ethical standards
  • effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field
  • advanced degree preferred
  • proven leadership experience in quality assurance or patient safety
  • familiarity with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • experience with clinical technology and quality improvement methodologies
  • excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Job Duties

  • guide QAPI strategy and accreditation readiness
  • manage safety event investigations including RCA2 and FMEA
  • oversee peer review and OPPE/FPPE processes
  • lead initiatives for sepsis, stroke, and AMI bundle compliance
  • implement HAI reduction and antimicrobial stewardship alignment
  • foster high-reliability practices and Just Culture principles
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and service line leaders to promote evidence-based care pathways
