Job Requirements
- registered nurse license or equivalent healthcare credential
- minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or patient safety leadership
- knowledge of QAPI, RCA2, FMEA, and related quality tools
- ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- proficiency with clinical data analytics
- commitment to patient-centered care and ethical standards
- effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field
- advanced degree preferred
- proven leadership experience in quality assurance or patient safety
- familiarity with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- experience with clinical technology and quality improvement methodologies
- excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Job Duties
- guide QAPI strategy and accreditation readiness
- manage safety event investigations including RCA2 and FMEA
- oversee peer review and OPPE/FPPE processes
- lead initiatives for sepsis, stroke, and AMI bundle compliance
- implement HAI reduction and antimicrobial stewardship alignment
- foster high-reliability practices and Just Culture principles
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and service line leaders to promote evidence-based care pathways
