Job Description

TriVista is a distinguished global operational management consulting firm recognized for its rapid growth and award-winning culture. Honored with the Great Place to Work Award, TriVista fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where creativity and fresh perspectives thrive. The firm is deeply committed to continuous learning and values employees who are passionate about making a meaningful difference. With a foundation built on industry subject matter experts and a results-driven mindset, TriVista supports clients through some of their most complex operational and strategic challenges.

Headquartered in Orange County, California, TriVista offers flexibility by allowing employees in this role to reside anywhere in the United States, provided they have reliable access to a major airport to accommodate required business travel. This position involves significant travel responsibilities, with expectations reaching up to 75% domestic and international travel, complemented by 25% remote work.

As a Director at TriVista, you will lead teams that design and execute consulting engagements specifically tailored for Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies. You will be central to both firm development and client project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and fostering strong client relationships. This leadership role demands experience in supply chain or operations strategy, with a proven history of operational leadership in consulting firms or Fortune 500 companies. You are expected to have a demonstrated track record of coaching, leading transformational projects at both site and enterprise levels, and managing successful project delivery while overseeing budgets, deadlines, and client expectations.

Key aspects of the Director role include growing firm revenue by maintaining and expanding existing client accounts. This involves actively engaging with account leaders and main contacts, scoping new projects, preparing client discussion documents and engagement letters, and driving new business opportunities. Beyond project management, Directors play an essential role in firm-wide strategic initiatives and employee development. You will mentor and develop TriVista team members, participate in recruiting and interviews, and contribute to firm strategy and capability-building projects.

Directors serve as the face of TriVista, communicating regularly with top-tier stakeholders including Private Equity investors, boards of directors, and corporate executive teams. Articulate communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to succeed in this role. You will harness project management best practices, leveraging tools such as Gantt charts, risk assessments, work breakdown structures, and financial tracking to assure project success and sustainable client impact.

This position calls for a high degree of initiative, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of manufacturing and operations—ranging from continuous improvement and supply chain optimization to sourcing, inventory management, and logistics—with exceptional client engagement and leadership capabilities. If you thrive in dynamic environments and want to be part of a firm that values your growth, collaboration, and the chance to solve significant business challenges, TriVista offers an unparalleled career opportunity.
