The Director of Strategic Operations role at Veho is a pivotal leadership position designed for an individual who excels at addressing ambiguous problems and spearheading cross-functional initiatives. This opportunity is not a typical support role but represents a leadership accelerator with direct exposure to executive decision-making and strategic issues that greatly impact Veho’s long-term trajectory. The individual in this position will work closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and act as a force multiplier, driving the alignment and execution of strategic priorities throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities for the Director of Strategic Operations include partnering with the CPO to define and drive quarterly and annual objectives, managing operating cadences such as staff meetings and business reviews to enhance decision-making efficiency, and solving cross-functional problems by facilitating collaboration between various teams including product, operations, engineering, and finance. Additionally, the Director will lead high-priority projects that span beyond established team structures, such as mergers and acquisitions diligence, organizational design, and market expansion analysis.

This role also involves shaping executive communications by preparing board materials, investor updates, and leadership presentations that align stakeholders and drive informed decisions. The Director of Strategic Operations will be integral to freeing up executive time by serving as a trusted advisor and proxy for the CPO, effectively amplifying the impact of the product organization. The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000 annually, with Veho also providing a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k plan, and unlimited paid time off for exempt-level employees.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-10 years relevant experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or business roles

Job Qualifications

  • 6-10 years in strategy, operations, consulting, or high-ownership business roles
  • track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • previous exposure to executive leadership as direct report or close partner to C-suite
  • experience in high-growth environments such as Series B or rapid scaling
  • logistics, supply chain, marketplace, or technology industry background preferred
  • management consulting or investment banking/PE background is a bonus
  • ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive them to resolution
  • builds financial models, analyzes data, synthesizes insights into actionable recommendations
  • communicates complex ideas clearly tailored to board, ICs or external partners
  • manages multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail
