Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of hotel sales experience, including leadership or management roles
  • proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • strong negotiation, communication, and networking skills
  • knowledge of marriott tools, sales systems and delphi experience preferred
  • professional appearance and adherence to hotel brand standards

Job Duties

  • participate in the opening sales processes
  • develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets
  • lead the sales team in prospecting, contracting, and account management activities
  • maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and travel partners
  • represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community functions
  • collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing and inventory strategies
  • analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • oversee group room and event sales to ensure profitability and guest satisfaction
  • provide leadership and training to employee associates
  • ensure accurate sales reporting and forecasting through CRM systems
  • collaborate with the general manager and corporate director of sales to align strategies
