Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, marketing, or related field (preferred)
- minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales experience
- strong understanding of the Tampa and Brandon, FL markets
- proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- excellent communication skills
- negotiation skills
- leadership skills
- ability to travel locally between properties
- flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- participation in networking events and sales missions
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, marketing, or related field (preferred)
- minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales experience, with multi-property or dual-role experience highly desirable
- strong understanding of the Tampa and Brandon, FL markets
- proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- proficiency in Hilton systems and sales tools is a plus
Job Duties
- develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve or exceed revenue goals for both properties
- identify new business opportunities across corporate, group, government, and leisure segments
- analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to adjust pricing and sales strategies
- collaborate with revenue management to optimize ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR
- lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, ensuring performance goals are met
- maintain an active sales pipeline, including prospecting, cold calling, and client engagement
- conduct regular sales calls, site visits, and presentations to secure new and repeat business
- negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and compliance with brand standards
- build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel managers, and local businesses
- represent both properties at networking events, trade shows, and community functions
- ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through consistent follow-up and service
- ensure all sales efforts align with Hilton Worldwide brand standards and initiatives
- collaborate with General Managers and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and events
- utilize Hilton systems to track performance and client engagement
- prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, forecasts, and budgets
- monitor KPIs such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market share penetration
- adjust strategies based on performance data and market conditions
