Job Requirements
- At least two years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
- Or a four-year college degree and at least one year of related experience
- Or a two-year college degree and at least two years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
- Thorough experience with professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, closing
- Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organization and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
- Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties
- Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximize room bookings and revenue
- Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to achieve targets and foster a positive work environment
- Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts to align with hotel financial goals
- Conduct sales calls, client tours, and networking events to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to support operational goals and promote the hotel brand
- Analyze market trends and competitive activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Represent the hotel at industry events and community functions to enhance brand visibility
