We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience working with major hospitality brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and IHG. The Director of Sales will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing customer acquisition, and nurturing long-term client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and the ability to influence key stakeholders at various organizational levels.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for creating comprehensive sales plans that align with the company’s objectives. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the Joshi Hotel Group competitively within the hospitality landscape. The successful candidate will be adept at communicating complex value propositions through persuasive proposals and presentations, ensuring the client's needs are fully understood and addressed.

In addition to strategic planning, the Director of Sales will oversee the execution of sales initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and report on factors influencing budget allocations and account strategies. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with customers is essential to this role, as is partnering with clients to tailor solutions that meet their unique business goals.

This role demands excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, combined with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and its evolving trends. Candidates should have prior experience managing sales teams or leading sales functions within competitive markets. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven sales executive experience meeting or exceeding targets
  • previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
  • ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization including executive and C-level
  • proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • proven ability to position products against competitors
  • demonstrable experience as head of sales developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
