This particular role is for a Director of Operations at the JW Marriott Anaheim and represents a significant leadership position within the hotel. The Director of Operations will support the General Manager by overseeing critical departments such as Rooms, Food and Beverage, Finance, Sales and Marketing, as well as Repairs and Maintenance. This role is instrumental in achieving operational efficiency, driving guest satisfaction scores, and meeting the financial objectives set by the hotel's ownership. The Director of Operations will also serve as the acting General Manager during their absence, highlighting the importance and seniority of this position.

Candidates should be prepared to lead and coordinate with operational managers, ensuring successful implementation of the hotel’s strategic plans and compliance with brand standards. They will be expected to develop and manage budgets, foster a high-performance culture through hiring, training and performance evaluations, and solve conflicts efficiently. The compensation for this role ranges from $145,000 to $150,000 annually, with eligibility for discretionary performance bonuses but not tipped or service charge eligible.
